Why don't we make it criminal for those who seek politicians' recommendations as one of the qualifications to apply and qualify for a job in the government and private offices? kasali na rin dito ang mga politiko or kumpare, kumadre. Criminalizing these acts will indeed improve our governance.

The highway from Iligan City going to Dipolog and Zamboanga are full of Vultures or shall we say Terrorists along the highway be it Police, LTO, LTFRB that mulch on motorists particularly cargo trucks and passenger vehicles. Hindi rin makakalusot ang mga private na sasakyan. Can the authorities (hindi ko alam kung sino ang lalapitan) do something about this?

I n actuality there is no shortage in rice. Strategy lang iyan ni Yap na may shortage so the price of rice shall be increased (This is also a strategy used by Canada, U.S. and etc). I know because i am a rice farmer myself. Ang NFA naman ay talagang walang naitulong sa mga farmers. That is why farmers in Bukidnon and perhaps in some regions of the country are barely selling their produce at NFA.

| 01lorenzo | Travel Ban to Nigeria | 0 | Jan 5 2008, 5:56 AM EST by 01lorenzo | |

DOLE, DFA, POEA, OWWA, etc., do not seem to understand what the messages of the overseas workers in Nigeria through e-mail and other means of communications are requesting them to release or lift the ban that they have imposed since October 2007. It is very clear in the message that the situation here in Nigeria is much better than in our country in terms of kidnapping, robbery, bombing, rapes, extortion, other criminal acts, etc.
What sort of language and english do we need to tell them so that they can fully understand the message and have a logical mental awareness to decide what is good for the workers here in Nigeria. We would like to repeat the simple message: We need the travel ban released or lifted. The safety situation here is much better than our country. Is that difficult to understand? Are they smarter than the fifth grader? Come on, we are the workers who need to support our family needs, not them, because, they can not even provide us with a relatively good paying standard job in our country . Before they can do that, our country's industrialization program must work out first. At this moment, it is not working, because, people in place are all corrupt. Let the agencies mentioned above know that sooner or later, this issue might escalate to a serious matter if they are very unstable with their management relating to this matter. People here are now getting excited to some extent of driving wayforward views which are not healthy to both parties. it's just a matter of time.

Our people (the Filipinos) whoever are they, matured and responsible, should think twice to encourage change in our government corrupt officials. We should find trustworthy people to rule our government to enhance and improve our economy continuously and compete with other Asian progressive countries. If we do not do this in the next 20 years, we will be on the top poorest country in the world and the livelihood for lower clas will not no longer be manageable.
We have hundreds of irresponsible politicians who, by the qualification alone, do not deserve to be in office, unfortunately, they were elected by the majority, probably without thinking of the future adverse consequence they contribute to the country. We all need to change and put in place the right people in the seat who are really qualified, honest and trustworthy. This can be workedout in due time for as long as each and every citizen voting for any post, must hearthily consider what is best for the country. Please put this reminder in your list of priority during election day.
